Functional Analyst

We are hiring for a full-time Functional Analyst position at our office in Plano, Texas. This position is responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, writing robust code, reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing and release/documenting, and implementing software systems. This position will design, document, and modify software throughout project life cycle; analyze and correct problems and provide regular, timely status reports.

More specifically, the day-to-day duties are the following:

• Develop, translate, code, test, and analyze software programs and interfaces within the Oracle Applications environment, following best practices.
• Collaborate with end users and business stakeholders to gather, document, and refine program requirements and specifications.
• Identify system issues and implement improvements, enhancements, and modifications.
• Write, test, debug, document, deploy, and maintain high-quality, reliable code; review code written by other developers.
• Design and develop custom applications using Oracle Java Cloud Service (JCS) and integrate them with Oracle Fusion Applications.
• Create and maintain BI Publisher reports and OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) reports.
• Manage and implement Oracle Fusion Cloud Security key functions.
• Design and develop cloud database features to ensure smooth system implementation and performance.
• Develop Oracle HCM Cloud solutions, including Fast Formulas, HDL data loads, integrations, and inbound/outbound interfaces.
• Perform performance testing on new and existing applications to identify bugs and optimize efficiency.
• Analyze existing systems, troubleshoot programming issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate test results and provide solutions to identified problem areas.
• Generate reports and statistics for management and team members on development progress and system performance.
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation, including technical specifications, data mapping, workflows, and coding standards.
• Enhance functionality and user experience of Oracle ERP systems through custom development.
• Train and support end users on system interfaces and proper usage.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer/electronics/IT engineering or related CS/IT Engineering discipline and two (2) years of experience in job offered or related programmer/functional analyst occupation.
